International 8-Ball Rules

nternational 8-Ball Rules were developed to bring greater consistency and global alignment to various 8-ball pool rule sets.

Originally introduced as ‘Supreme Rules’, they debuted in a major English 8-Ball Pool event at the 2018 Supreme Series Grand Final, which featured a record-breaking £51,000 first prize. These rules were used throughout the 2019 Supreme Series and quickly gained popularity among the sport’s elite players.

Now known as International 8-Ball Rules, the format reflects their growing global appeal. The aim is to make English 8-Ball Pool more accessible and easier to understand for international audiences, some of whom previously found other rulesets difficult to follow.
